Planting Sweet Potato Slips

In general I have to create things for work. While I do enjoy being able to use my creativity professionally, doing so for a corporate office gig can feel a little bit like a grind. I try to make the time to create things in my free time and in many cases it involves creating videos which is something I truly enjoy.

I recently purchased a Sony ZV-1 camera which is their camera created specifically for vlogging. I’m never really tried vlogging but I grew up with YouTube and have spent many hours watching vloggers and becoming heavily invested in their day to day lives. I also love the idea of trying to make miniature movies about myself and my loved ones.

Gardening is something really enjoy and while I’m by no means an expert I’ve found that friends and family and even people online really like content about plants and growing food. I have been propagating some sweet potatoes for a few months and they are finally ready to plant in the ground. I decided to shoot this video vertically because I mainly post to TikTok and Instagram but I’ll probably start shooting more traditional aspect ratio videos soon.
