Trellis for Squash Support

We tried to grow a three sisters garden but we may have planted the beans too early because they started to grow at a much faster pace than the corn which caused the beans to choke the corn before it could grow taller. This left a tangled mess of dead corn, beans, and squash growing in a giant vine ball.

I’m going to remove the dead corn and make a trellis for the squash and beans to encourage them to grow vertically instead of all over the garden. I’m not sure if I’ll attempt a three sisters garden again next year but this was a good learning experience!
